The scientific meeting will be followed by the meeting of the All Wales Clinical Biochemistry Audit Group:
1445-1450 Chairman's introduction and review of audit activities
1450-1515 Audit of POCT support provided by Welsh NHS laboratories - Mrs Annette Thomas, Director-WEQAS
1515-1530 Draft standards for operating multiple blood gas analysers in the same Trust - Mr Mike McGrane, Royal Glamorgan Hospital
1530-1545 Draft Standards for the investigation of suspected phaeochromocytoma - Mr Gareth Davies, Wrexham Maelor Hospital
The audit meeting will follow on from the ACB Wales Region meeting. The audit session is free of charge and open to all interested healthcare professionals.
There is a charge of £10 (including lunch) for attendance ot the ACB Wales scientific meeting.
