I came across an answer to the arm band problem relatively recently.
This would have been an answer to a problem which I had been faced with
some years ago - don't use arm bands use labels which can be stuck onto
the patient anywhere. In fact they might have been of use in Mr Blair's
current problem for field etc injury cases. They are not the obvious
ones like Avery Labels but are designed for the job.
They are called Stab Labels and the details are on a site,
