According to the pack insert, Li Hep is NOT a valid sample type for Troponin T. In fact it appears that Heparin interferes with the detection system of the Elecsys systems so heparinised plasma should not be used for any analyte.

I note with interest your comment re Li heparin. Many hospitals are
gradually moving to "green" top (heparin tubes) and away from "red top"
tubes with no anti-coagulants. Are there other analytes besides iCa and Li
that one should be concerned about?

Troponin T and Troponin I can have falsely raised results in under filled Li Heparin samples. (Beckman Access is OK).
Of course Troponin can also be affected by micro clots.
