Two further issues for consideration :-
The results will be e-mailed back. Will this be via Yahoo mail ? When we send results electronically to GP surgeries just down the road, they are sent encrypted (twice at the moment) to specified PMIP standards. Are we now going to receive results from halfway round the world in open e-mails ?
Many laboratories in this country are struggling to implement working practices that comply with the EC Working Time Directive. The government intends to undercut these labs (?help us out?) by sending the work to labs where the staff work 55 hour weeks for £125 per week. What are the ethics of that ?
