Is there any supporting evidence to back up the claim there are queues waiting for blood tests?? Do they mean phlebotomy?
Also the biggest delay in getting Pathology reports back (I am assuming they mean Histology here), is the lack of Histopathologists, so unless there is going to be a sudden increase in numbers being trained, I can't see this happening too quickly.
Is this a direct outcome of last year's Audit Commission reports into Radiology and Pathology??
