I too would much prefer to keep the POCT mailbase separate from the
general one. I am also finding it difficult to sort through the general
mailbase for items of POCT interest, particularly as the subject line of
the posting is not always an accurate guide to content.
If it is not possible to separate the 2 mailbases, could I suggest that
POCT be included in the subject field of all postings related to this
speciality? Those of us with a specific interest in POCT could then set up
an e-mail message rule so that POCT postings would be automatically
directed to a separate ACB-POCT folder.
Similarly those members of the mailbase who are finding their normal e-
mails swamped by mailbase postings could set up a rule so that all e-mails
containing "ACB-GEN-CLIN-CHEM" in the To field were directed to a separate
ACB-GEN folder.
Best wishes
Bob Johnson
