Hi
Just went to my 1st anti-globalization (WTO) Demonstration. It was great!
Nothing well plan like ADAPT, not very accessible. But since I had my
motorize chair, mobility wise, it went well. I could not get much of the
speeches. If I had been on cane this would not have worked.
And a kid young enough to have just been born when I went to my first few
demo, was "patronizing enough" to warn me that a fight was about to break,
maybe I should move, he said.
Issues of disability and globalization were missing. Do these get names and
anywhere except Europe? (I'm saying Europe, not UK.) I heard that in Italy
the issues were heard as well. I'm curious, how do you get them on the
agenda?
Maria
