Capacity builder - fundraising, ADD, Bobo-Dioulasso, to the join the
West Africa Programme of Action on Disability and Development (ADD), a
UK-based NGO supporting rights based development work with groups of
disabled people in West Africa and Asia.
Your role will include identifying and setting up partnerships with
potential funding organisations for the three West Africa country
programmes (Burkina Faso, Mali, Ivory Coast), training field staff in
fundraising techniques, and advocacy focused towards funding
organisations and the inclusion of disabled peoples' needs in their
policies. Essential requirements for this post include at least two
years' fundraising experience, (ideally in a development context),
together with proven skills in project development and management,
commitment to working with people with disabilities, and good French.
