I presume you have checked BL and COPAC as well as further afield,
library data base on line?
Rules for scanning pre 1850 books vary, with some libraries allowing
photocopying, others digital scanning and others possibly not at all.
Perhaps a previously scanned version might be best suited to your purposes?
I have a listing of these sits if they are needed.
On another matter, has consideration been given to integrating 19th
century gazetteers such as Lewis Topo. Gazetteer (UK) and Groome OS
Gazetteer (Scotland) into the project? They are a font of material.
