HERON is the only UK service to offer the Higher and Further Education community a
one-stop copyright clearance and digitization service for book extracts and journal
articles, enabling publishers` content to be made more widely accessible online.
Following the success of its project phase, HERON is now an established and thriving
service. The presentation will cover the background of HERON during its project
phase, the structure of the current service and an outline of major plans for
redevelopment and improvement for the future.
