medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

The tendency today among scholars of Paul and early Christianity is to see him
in his (obvious) Jewish setting, and to refer not to a "conversion" (as though
he was no longer Jewish but now something different), but to use Paul's own term
as found in Galatians, that he was "called" to witness to the eschatological
developments and opportunities associated with the arrival of Jesus
Messiah/Christ. I'll tell my class that we missed the celebration of Paul's Call
(it's a Tuesday class).
