Margret Cox had an experiment with pig carcasses and cameras to catch birds of
prey on action and examine the marks on the bonem - not sure what results she
got - does anyone else know? I think this was a result of her potentially
identifying excarnating (?) bird damage on human bones from Eton Rowing Lake,
site.
Not sure this helps, but you could try margret at Bournemouth University.

Can anyone suggest any refs linking carrion eaters to human remains
particularly in excarnation, but also in relation to buried remains ?
Many Thanks
Mel
