Hello Tony,
It's a shame you are not mentioning the product name in your
email because I don't know if you are using the same VLE as us.
However, our VLE is WebCT version 3.8. Since it allows for
selective release it can cater for individual needs such as you
describe.
If your insitution uses WebCT and no-one can tell you how to set
up selectvie release please contact me off-list, search the
webct.com discussion forum or register and post a question to Dr.
C.
When researching different VLEs, amongst other items, we looked
at the product's ability to cater for individual needs and to
accommodate adaptive environments. This functionality seemed to
be required in relation to SENDA and the QAA guidelines.
I hope this information is uesful.
