Two Regional Training Days - Cultural Diversity
How do I work with culturally diverse communities in the South East?
SEMLAC has organised this training as an introduction to working with
culturally diverse communities. It aims to provide participants with
examples from the region of good practice and also with practical
information through workshops on how to identify, approach, and work with
diverse communities in the South East.
Date: 1st December 2003, 10.00-4.00
Venue: Reading Museum
Cost: free
The practical workshops will be lead by Padmini Broomfield,
Community History Officer at Southampton Oral History Unit, who has
developed many oral history projects with local communities.
Date: 15th December 2003, 10.00-4.00
Venue: Brighton Museum & Art Gallery
Cost: free
The practical workshops will be lead by Clare Cherry, an independent
equality and diversity trainer.
