Apologies for cross-posting
Here at Chester we have to spend the next few weeks investigating the pros
and cons of becoming a trust. At the moment we have an Archaeology Section,
an Education Section and a Museum Section based at the Grosvenor Museum. We
are funded by Chester City Council at the moment.
I have been asked by the Head of Heritage Services to find examples of trust
run heritage services, and of ones who are still council run (we are a city
council and are not an LEA) Perhaps someone out there has moved from one to
the other recently?
I'd appreciate any words of wisdom on this and am expected to select some
places to visit!
THanks for any help.
