Hi Susan
RNIB produces a fact sheet "Designing Gardens and Nature Trails for blind
and partially sighted people" which might be of interest to you in terms of
developing sensory trails - I'll email it to you off list. Both The Dog
Rose Trust (www.dogrose-trust.org.uk) and Fieldsman Trails
(http://dialspace.dial.pipex.com/town/parade/ni30/fieldsman/) develop audio
tours for outdoor sites. No idea about the replica food though I'm afraid!
Hope this is of use

Subject: replica food & sensory trails!
Dear all,
Does anyone have a contact for a manufacturer of good quality replica food?
I
need some items to stock my "Roman" kitchen at Arbeia Fort. All ideas very
gratefully received.
Also, does anyone have experience of sensory (tactile / scented / audio)
trails
on outdoor sites? Sounds like a good idea, but need some help with the
practicalities.
THANK YOU
best wishes
Susan
