Dear All
I have just received a mailing from the British Cardiac Patients Association which states that their focus for this year will be on heart failure. To this end they are asking all the doctors on their mailing list "... why are not more laboratories offering natriuretic peptide measurement and why are not more physicians requesting its measurement ..."
I am sure that the ACB and the RCPath will be responding, but for those laboratories that are not yet providing a service, be prepared ....
