I've been informed by an advisor from the Disability Rights Commission, that
the Local Government Ombudsman may be 'exempt' as a 'public-authority' from
the Disability Discrimination Act.
Is this correct ? Can anyone enlighten how the Ombudsman can be above the
law ?
Does 'injustice' equate to 'discrimination' ?
So, the Ombudsman does not investigate 'injustice', in which means all
'public-authorities' equal opportunities policies, practices and procedures
should be open to scrutiny against all forms of discrimination towards
members of the public.
