To DANNER's
As you know I have been having great problems getting my careplan implemented locally by my local public authorities, in the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull Locality.
I like others on this list feel very angry and saddened at the many human rights abuses of individuals by the local public authorities.
I know that many of the personal lifestories on this list and other lists effect me at a personal level and as a collective I feel that 'we' need to politicised all 'issues' which effect disabled people and older people in the U.K.
I have been on 'direct-action' for many years, including the poll tax rallies and miners rallies in the 80's. It's interesting today that their is going to be over 1/2 million people taken direct-action in London, by the 'countryside-alliance'. This is all over fox-hunting. Where were these lords when the miners needed their support ?
I find human-nature very fascinating, that so-many individuals want to shout-out about their right to cruelty in 'killing' a poor fox, but when it comes to human suffering, then no-one seems to want to know, why ?
I have a theory that it is normal for some humans to want to kill. Anthropologists state that 80% of human are still carrying the heredity hunter/gatherer gene of the ancestors. This is why we are so-impulsive and hunt in shops on the net for information etc.
In modern society we do not have to hunt for food anymore, due to production and consumerism. So, in a capitalist system the hunter/gatherers trait is important because our impulsiveness makes 'us' consume and shop to we drop. The minority in 'power' 'the farmers' would not be able to profit if 'we' did not carry this hunter/gatherer gene.
I have a theory that NeuroDiversity and Hunter/Gathers are the same, but within modern societies and cultures these creative skills and traits have no-use within a modern society, except that 'we' now 'consume' and hunt/gather in different ways from our ancestors. I believe that NeuroDiversity is the 'norm' in society and the majority and Neuro-typical is the 'minority' who are the 'farmers' with all the 'powers'.
I'm in the opinion that due to our oppression this is why their is so-much mental distress, ill health and crime within society. 'WE' are going against 'nature'. The current sociological structures and systems are against our genetics and it is them what need to change, not 'us' as individuals.
This is personal and 'we' need to be politicised and have a 'collective voice'.
So, how do we do this...
As I said 'we' should use our creativity to our advantage and remember 'we' need to be 'enabled' to feel 'empowered'...
There is more than one-way to skin a cat !... Non-violent Communication could be achieved collectively by supporting an individual in different 'direct-action'... I will call this 'virtual direct-action'... 'We' can empower others and ourselves through online virtual petitions to all the 'public-authorities'. We have the technology, but 'collectively have 'we' all got the 'will' to support all out brothers and sisters in their personal struggles ?
'We' can easily send petitions or letters through e-mails to the various local-authority Social and Housing Departments, especially the Directors and Chief Executives and local Politician and Councillors. Remember these 'executives and politicians' are 'accountable' to the members of the public.
We can also do the same to the local Primary, Hospital and Community NHS Trusts who have chief-executives.
We also can e-mail Local Government Ombudsman to petition against discrimination and injustice in support of any individual. the 'collective-voice' has more effect and impact', than the 'individual' voice.
To be honest how many of you feel so isolated and frustrated trying to get the 'public-authorities' to listen? How many feel like the 'little-fox' frightened and scared being chased my the pack ?
The sky's our limit ! We don't need to feel isolated anymore.... We can collectively petition any 'public-authority' and government departments and QUANGO's, through our own 'collective voice'... 'We' can feel 'empowered', through the 'virtual direct-action'.
Remember, 'the personal is political' and 'no-voice' should be ignored... 'We' are a 'collective-voice' with the power to effect change and have positive impacts in personal life's...
I for one don't like my isolated voice and being the 'Lone Wolf' or the frightened 'little fox'. We are the hunter/gatherers so lets regain our past and our human rights in nature and bring back the semblance of power into the NeuroDiverse(hunter/gatherers) where 'we' can use the power to the good of all human-kind... Reclaim of our ancestory and life's...
