A request from Bob Ward, Senior Press Office Manager at the Royal Society
This is a request for urgent help from you, by the end of today if at all
possible.
BBC Radio 4's 'You and Yours Programme' on Monday 4 February will be looking
at the way science is reported by the media. They intend to feature
prominently our 'Guidelines on science and health communication', and the
programme makers are seeking information about scientists who believe that
their work has been misreported.
I would be grateful if you could let me know of any researchers who have had
a bad experience with the media. Since I need about four or five candidates,
it would be helpful if you could circulate my request to your various
electronic e-mail networks.
Please contact me if you need any further information.
