We are a small local and non state funded museum in Rye E. Sussex, almost
entirely volunteer run.
We had a Lottery grant to open a new building so in terms of general access
we are fine. But we would like advice about ways of providing materials for
those with visual impairment. I have phoned the RNIB, but their consultancy
fees are too large for us, and in any case I am not sure we are big enough
for them to have much impact.
We could provide braille handouts, is there funding for this? Does anyone
know where we could have it done? Also extra large type on handouts.
