Do you want to play a leading role in the reinvention of one of the
oldest museums in England?
The Royal College of Surgeons of England is responsible for three
museums, including the designated Hunterian Collection.
The museums contain comparative anatomy and pathology collections and
surgical instruments dating back to the 18th century
as well as modern teaching collections.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and imaginative individual with an
interest in all aspects of museum work to lead our audience development
programme and to join a small team planning the refurbishment of our
museums. You will also be responsible for creating and running visitor
events and helping with the production of temporary exhibitions.
You should have a relevant degree and some museum experience. An
interest in medical history or biosciences would be an advantage. For an
