Dear List members,
Can anyone tell me if they have seen the below gonadotrophin pattern before and what it means and what follow-up (if any) is required.
GP patient, 34 years old female. No period for past 3 months. Family history of DM, but otherwise nil PMH.
LH = 0.7
FSH = 6.2
PRL = 232
OE2 = 130
TSH = 1.5 (we do not do FT4 routinely)
Normal U&E etc profile. Normal glucose.
Thank you in anticipation.
Raheela
P.S. Thank you to all those who responded to my PTH query. We have suggested they measure ionised calcium and investigate the possibility of hyperparathyroidism.
