Hello List members,
can anyone tell me if the responsiveness of calcium to PTH in pregnancy is different from a non-pregnant person.
We have an ANC patient who is 39 yrs old, has a PTH of 3.0 pmol/L (ref range 1.1 - 7.5) with an adjusted calcium of 2.96 mmol/L. Is this PTH sufficiently suppressed for this concentration of calcium?
Many thanks in anticipation.
