ENDOWED PROFESSORSHIP IN GEOPHYSICS
The Department of Geological Sciences at Indiana University invites
applications for the Mead Professorship in Geophysics. Appointment will
be at the Associate or Full Professor level. We seek an outstanding
scientist with expertise in applied and exploration geophysics who can
foster interdisciplinary study in geophysics that incorporates
tectonics, basin analysis or environmental geoscience. A strong
publication record and demonstrated success in obtaining, or the
potential to obtain, external research support are essential. This
position is part of a major effort to expand our department made
possible by a recent endowment campaign. More information about the
