medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Deleted the original, but I see no-one's tried a response yet. A couple
of things. First, we'd expect Touati usually to write in French, so is
the mention of an English article correct? Second, is it M-O or M.A.
Touati (the 'A' being for 'Alain')?
This isn't an answer, but a suggestion that Touati and leprosy may well
appear in a recent volume of _Micrologus_. SISMEL (the publisher)
maintain an on-line catalogue which, I think, has contents listings. A
simple search for SISMEL+Micrologus should get you there easily enough,
unless their server's down, as it was five minutes back when I tried.
Vol. 1 (1993) was _Discourses of the Body_, Vol. 7 (1999) was _The
corpse_ -- this from their printed catalogue, just received (subscribe!
it's free! there are good things there!), which does not have
contents-listings apart from for the newest things they do. Jolly stuff,
all of it. Wish I could afford the lot!
I may be wrong, but it rings a bell. Good hunting.
Angus, Oman
