Hi,
I see more a more a confusing use of the definition of multi-access systems
and multi-channel systems.
In fact, some authors refer to multi-access as a communication system that
allows different kind of data entry (voice recognition, text input, remote
control signals, etc.) and multi-channel instead is defined as an integrated
system accessible to users from different interfaces/devices (mobile phone,
PC, PDA, iTV, car, etc.). However, both terminologies are very frequently
indiscriminately exchanged.
Does anyone know where it is possible to find a reliable definition?
Thanks in advance,
Anxo
