Reporting to the Head of Education, you will be part of the Education
Service team responsible for developing education programmes for schools
and FE colleges, adult learners and all exhibition visitors, and you will
play a key role in the development of the Library’s exhibitions. You
should have significant experience of gallery development and of creative
educational programmes plus proven management and communication skills.
British Library Living Words education web site
To develop our site in exciting new ways to support the National Curriculum
we need to expand our web team:
Researcher, Grade C, Part time (0.6FTE)

Salary c. 20,000 pro rata

With experience of research in library and archive collections, you will
identify and assemble source material in the British Library’s collections
for a wide range of National Curriculum subjects.
Web Developer, Grade C
Ref. LW2
Salary c. £22,000
To 31.3.2002
With experience of creating online resources for schools or young people,
you will produce the interactive content for the Living Words web site.
