excellent education projects.
This day includes an update on the Campaign for Learning for Museums and
Galleries, case studies from Sheffield and Derbyshire, project management
for education projects and behind-the-scenes tour of new Millenium gallery.
The programme starts at 10am and ends at 4pm

1.30 Introduction to Millenium galleries (tour before officially open in
April)
2.00 case study of Sheffield Museum Trust "Making memories" working older
people. Sheffiled one of 3 partners in a pilot CLMG and DFEE Lifelong
learning project, which focuses on different approaches to learning in
different settings for older learners.

2.30pm case study of Eyam Museum, a small volunteer run Derbyshire Museum,
focusing on education work with schools and demonstrate how impacted on
museum as whole.
3.00pm tea
3.15pm Extending life of project
-using to inform future work
using to change attitudes in museum
Raising profile of work internally or externally
looking at training/development needs of staff and volunteers.
4pm Evaluation/close.
