Dear List
I am working as part of a team to set up the first Young Archaeologist Club
for London and we're trying to put together an indicative budget for our
activities and annual plan.
As well as providing our own activities and sessions we would like to hire
in archaeological demonstrators to provide a couple of sessions for us:
flint knappers, potters, textile experts...any others that might be
relevant.
I was wondering if you could provide some rough and ready quotes on how much
we should expect to pay and for how long.
Also, a couple of years ago, at the Museum of Oxford I hired a potter to
deliver a session on making Roman oil lamps which he took away and fired for
us - does this sound familiar to anyone else? Does anyone have contact
details for him?
All suggestions welcomed!
many thanks, Louise Doughty
