Dear Fortran/Java experts,
to integrate an existing fortranlibary I have to implement it using the JNI
interface, where I have to put all
calls to fortran in a c-wrapper. This fortranlibrary uses heavily COMMON -
blocks for internal communication
and will be implemented as a shared library. Now my questions:
The variables within the common blocks are global. Is there a need to take
care about these from the java side?
if yes, is there a standard way to implement these common blocks from the
java side? (expamples are of course
welcome)
Thank You
Erich Kreiselmaier
