NIACE, with support form the DfEE, is currently developing a 'toolkit' for practitioners who support family learning in a variety of settings. We want to include materials that have been tried and tested by practitioners working in a wide range of settings.
We also want to represent the variety of approaches that make up family learning in its widest possible sense. Such approaches, for example, might include: parenting; relationship education; involvement in children's learning by parent, carer, sibling; basic skills development in a family context; family members learning together.
The materials and resources we are interested in may relate to policy and planning, curriculum design, programme delivery, programme evaluation or quality assurance.
If you have developed resources which you and your organisation would like to share with a wider audience, please make contact with Jeanne Haggart, NIACE Development Officer, on 0116 204 4200 or by e-mail to [log in to unmask]
NIACE looks forward to hearing from you!
