Thanks to everyone who has contributed ideas and bibliography for chocolate.
I especially liked Emma's recipe for a bitter, spicy chocolate drink; once
very popular but which to modern tastes is really quite repulsive! It
makes me wonder where the English sweet tooth came from - think of all those
fortified wines like sherry and port made exclusively for the English
market.
