I wonder if anyone can help.
Many of the display cases in one of the museums I work with has gold text
printed onto glass with no background colour (done long before my time!). I
want to improve the visibility and readibility of the text, but producing
entirely new labels for all the cases is not feasible at the moment. There
are also concerns about changes making the labels block the views of the
objects.
Has anyone experience of 'retro-fitting' some form of background to the
existing text to increase the amount of contrast (and preferably at the
same time not making the display seem ugly?)
I would welcome your suggestions.
Best wishes,
Dale
