The National Museum of Scotlands have a young trustees scheme, The Junior
Board. The NMS Board had its inaugural meeting in March 1996 and consists of
12 young people from across Scotland aged 10-14. You should contact Elspeth
Mackay, School Officer, 0131-2257534 for further details.

Onderwerp: young people as trustees for museums
Does anyone have experience of recruiting young people as trustees
(or volunteers) for heritage organisations/museums?
I work with Milton Keynes Heritage Association, a body made up of
mostly volunteer organisations, who are looking to inject some new
life and skills into their organisations.
Any advice would be welcome!
