I agree. However, there should be another change. After
the list was rehosted last year, the headers were changed
so that *both* the Reply-To: and the Sender: headers pointed
to the list. You can't get to the original sender without
digging his address out of the headers (which is very
indirect in my reader). In my opinion, the Reply-To: header
should be the F90 list, since that's where the majority of
responses will go. But, the Sender: header should be the
original author's reply address - so that I don't have to dig
for it.
As it presently is, if I select the "reply" option, I get the
list's address. And if I select the "reply to all" option
I get two copies of the list's address. It used to be that
"reply" went to the original author, and "reply to all"
went to both the list and the author. I preferred that to
what we have, but my above suggestion would be even
better.
