I received Kellie's message as a peculiarly Germanic looking oath (y
with umlaut, followed by an Old English thorn and then a "<" sign). I
have encountered this before from a colleague using Microsoft Outlook
but am unsure why. I am using a very recent and popular software for my
email, Netscape 4.7, and it reads most fancy things (attachments,
images, html code, special fonts and colors, etc). Perhaps there is a
setting on Outlook that will accomodate other readers?
