I do not know of any manuals like this, but I do know that many
zooarchaeologists working in the Canadian Arctic have to deal with lots
and lots of whale and seal bones, as well as other marine mammals and
birds. You might want to send your request (or discuss collaboration) with
Dr. Peter Whitridge, who is a post-doctoral fellow at the University of
Toronto, or Dr.James Savelle of McGill University in Montreal. Both do
Arctic archaeology with special interests in animal bones.
