Visit the new Centres for curiosity and imagination website to join the
electronic mailing list, add details of your UK Centre (even if it's still
at the planning stage), or advertise your services!
The Kids' Clubs Network Centres for curiosity and imagination project now
has a website at www.centresforcuriosity.org.uk. The project helps people
around the UK to set up community-based discovery centres for children.
The site includes advice about setting up a Centre (incorporating a business
plan template prepared by Lord Cultural Resources), a database of Centres,
and details of consultants and other service providers. It is also the
gateway to a new Centres for curiosity and imagination electronic mailing
list. Much more information will be added to the site over the next few
months, including insights into 'children's museums' around the world and a
major digest of research into children's hands-on learning.
