This is my usual conversation with Becton Dickinson about the need for trace
element vacutainers:
Me: Do I need to use the navy blue trace element vacutainers for
zinc or are our normal tubes acceptable?
BD rep: Well, some labs prefer to use the navy blue ones while others are
happy with their usual ones.
Me: But, do I actually need to use the navy blue trace element
vacutainers for zinc or are our normal tubes acceptable?
BD rep: Well, some labs prefer to use the navy blue ones while others are
happy with their usual ones.
(continue ad nauseum)
I know that the customer is always right, but there is a limit!
