I've checked with Ian Bird and he is more upbeat than I was below. He
expects some Tier2s to join LCG1 at the end of the summer. Since you are all
Tier2s by definition then you can start thinking about LCG. Whether he
changes his mind when everyone wants to join I don't know. I expect the
experiments will have some say too. Someone might als raise the question of
whether virtual Tier2s can join if there are too many UK applications.
