wasn't there a miracle wherein some unfortunate artisan tripped on a loose
floor tile in St Pauls cathedral and died as a consequence of improper
thoughts (I generalise because I can't be bothered to go get the book) -
there are a whole suite of rather improbable miracles attributed to him,
thought to be part of a hagiographical one-upmanship in the ?12th century
in which one Arcoid was involved.
He is the patron saint of London, but there is no church dedicated to him
here (as far as I know).
Secondly, did anyone ever get to find out how a relic of Erkenwald's got to
Lincoln Cathedral? (I asked this many moons ago)
