Dear crockers,
You are certainly correct that von Simpson has been pretty well
nibbled, but one needn`t rely solely on his book; the images speak
for themselves. One can judge for oneself, and I have to say that I
prefer a doctrinal explanation of the differences between the
Orthodox and Arian Baptistry images than the stylistic ones that have
been put forth.
