“The two words information' and communication' are often used interchangeably, but they
signify quite different things. Information is giving out; communication is getting
through.”
Sydney J. Harris
But I've shown her 6 times how to do that!
I explained exactly what was going to happen at a meeting last week and asked for
feedback. No one said anything but now they are all complaining about the change behind my
back!
I've written detailed instructions on how to carry out that procedure - why does no one
ever bother to read them?
If any of the above sound familiar then you will find this workshop on identifying your
preferred style of learning and examining how that influences the way you interact with
others in a variety of situations invaluable.
This course will provide you with the opportunity to:
Complete a learning Styles questionnaire and analysis your preferred type.
Explore how your preferences affect the way you and others receive and process
information.
Examine the impact your style has on how you:
pass information on to other people
train others
induct staff
participate in team working
behave in meetings
Who should attend?
This course is aimed at anyone who has to communicate information to others as part of
their work role.
