Hi
I would like to find out what happens in other Public Libraries as regards the division between childrens and adults' computers. In our Libraries, access to sites is predicated on whether the Library card used to log into the computer is attached to an adult's or child's account rather than on fixed computers.
I would like to know whether anyone allows children to use computers in the adult's computer areas if there are spare computers or whether they are only allowed to use the designated children's computers.
If computers are spread around the building can anyone, adult or child, use any computer?
If designated children's computers exist within the children's section, are children limited to only using computers within that area?
Are adults allowed to use children's computers if they're free? (I think I know the answer to this one!)
Are adults and children given the same priority when it comes to booking PC's?
Many thanks
