Following on from BBC Radio 6 breakfast slot being hosted in Leigh
Library this morning, I think we need to find a public library to host
either Radio 4's Any Questions or BBC's Question Time. Just looking at
tonight's line-up: Liam Fox, Tristram Hunt, Polly Toynbee and Harry
Mount; those latter two will be well into their libraries and could give
the other two a good verbal pounding. We need some more working class
types to chip in though (coming from a council estate and attending a
crappy comp I would put myself in this category - helped me get myself
up to postgrad qualifications).
I put this "out there" as someone who has very little time to follow up
on this idea in the hope that it'll chime with someone with the
wherewithall to follow it through!
Cheers
