P.S.: When critics talk about something being 'cinematic', what they
really mean is that is is EFFECTIVE, i.e. exciting, stimulating,
entertaining, engrossing, fascinating, thrilling, moving. There are
no strict/essentialist borders between film and other media such as
theatre, television, photography, music, literature, or powerpoint.
But there are more or less effective film designs, which the good
critic should observe and point out.
