We've just published an evaluation of 17 projects (across the former
North Thames) that aim to put evidence into practice. Our final report
gives generalisable lessons on what works and what doesn't when trying
to
change clinicians' behaviour. It is entitled Getting Better with
Evidence (by Wye & McClenahan) and is available from the King's Fund
bookshop for £5.99. It's also soon to be on our website
www.kingsfund.org.uk and on that of London Region (sorry, I don't have
the address).
There is also a book with chapters from 11 of the 15 project teams on
their experiences called Implementing Evidence Based Changes in
Healthcare edited by David Evans and Andrew Haines. It's published by
Radcliffe Medical Press.
