This program sounds very interesting. I am curious to know if anyone knows
of any Web-Based Doctoral programs?

Subject: Web based MSc in primary care - September 2000 intake
Dear list members
At University College London we have established the world's first fully web
based MSc in primary health care, with a strong emphasis on the hands-on
application of evidence-based practice. We welcomed our first intake of
students (all from the UK and western Europe) in September 1999, and
preliminary evaluations have been highly positive. We are now inviting
applications for the September 2000 intake. Students from any country, any
health system, and any professional discipline relevant to primary care are
welcome to apply. Students must have a first degree from a quality
university, be competent in written English, and have three years' work
experience in primary health care.
Further details are available from the on-line prospectus on
http://msc.phc.ucl.ac.uk
If you would like a printed prospectus and application form please email the
course administrator Mrs Angela Chesser on [log in to unmask]
Since the couse is based around virtual seminars in which students work in
small groups, we can accommodate a maximum of 20 students next September. We
suspect the course may be oversubscribed so please apply early to be sure of
a place.
