Almost certainly. The alternative chemical methods are fairly easy, but
my experience has been that they are not very reliable. I have been
attempting to set one up on the Cobas MIRA for about 2 years and keep
running into problems. You could measure sweat sodium as an interim
measure if you have a flame photometer
